How Time Flies!

December 3, 2012

Hello M:R Nation -

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend! Somehow, we are now in the month of December, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with our 70 degree weather. I would love to conduct a study which tells us why the older we get, the faster time flies by? I swear it was July, just last week…

time-flies

In any case, something that hasn’t flown by is our Deal Of The Week. We still have a few more days for this awesome 22% off of the iPhone 4S White and iPhone 4S Black screen repair! we have had many folks take advantage of this already and I hope you can get this deal while the gettin is good. If you have any questions whatsoever, give us a call at 866-638-8402 or email at Sales@missionrepair.com.

Cheers, Troy

Well, I spoke too soon yesterday. COUPON INSIDE!

July 10, 2012

Hello again everyone, it was a stressful night last night.

Actually, I had just posted a thank you blog and was excited about the fact that we were going to hit a record number of orders yesterday when all of the sudden our servers went down and our website and database were off line. I grabbed this image to illustrate how I spent my time:

Actually we had a 6 hour blackout. Or hosting site had a power outage, their backup generators failed, and the entire floor of servers went completely black – for about 6 hours.

So as a business owner that relies on the internet (and power) for success, I was crumbling by the second. Luckily it was at the end of the day – albeit a busy time of the day for our internet sales to develop – and most certainly the time of the day that we would have hit our record order count. With the site being down it made it impossible for you, our customers to place any orders yesterday evening. I am so sorry!!

With all of this technology, we are still reliant on simple things (like electricity!) to make it all work. I thought we were safe – by having backup power – but it seems like we need “backup backup power” just in case.

For any inconvenience that this may have caused, I’m running a 15% off coupon now through Sunday night 7/15/12. Just enter “ISP” as your coupon code and watch that 15% disappear for any service on the Mission Repair website.

Thanks for your patience, talk to you soon, Ryan

Cell Phone and iPhone Repair for Christmas? You bet!

December 8, 2011

Good afternoon folks!

It never fails and it’s happened a dozen times today alone. . .a customer will call and ask for an iPhone Glass repair – and asks if it will be done by Christmas – because the repair itself is a Christmas present for a loved one!

It makes me wonder how many broken devices are hanging around out there in the world. My guess would be “a bunch” ;-)

So to assure you, and the bunch of other people that are questioning whether or not we can get our iPhone Repairs done by Christmas: we can have your device repaired by 12/23 if you can get it to us by 12/22/11!

This means that you’re in good shape. You can procrastinate a little longer. I know all about it, I’m one of those “Christmas Eve shoppers” too.

Just remember that you only have a couple of weeks, but what’s a better gift than giving someone the repair that they need?

Mission Repair is here to help.

Happy Holidays! Ryan

Deal of the day and website upgrades. Let’s talk.

September 13, 2011

Hello there!

We just did a another major upgrade to our website and our servers. We have partnered with Akamai, the world’s leading CDN (short for Content Distribution Network) provider and we’re in good company – we now utilize the same technology as our friends at Apple, Inc!

What does this mean for us? We spread our website content across 72 countries, mirrored on over 95,000 servers. So when you visit MISSIONREPAIR.COM from your location, you’ll automatically receive our site content from the fastest server that’s closest to you which greatly boosts our site’s speed!

This is important as our site is deep, full of content and pictures, and becomes overwhelmed at times with traffic. In fact, we received double the anticipated traffic in the month of August which is something we monitor closely. We also monitor where the traffic comes from – the best part is that I can see the competition watching our site and it’s always fun to get a good chuckle at that the time they spend sniffing around! Heck, I can’t blame them ;-)

The bottom line is this – we’re committed to improving our site, our speed, our availability and our website uptime. . .all of which are part of the customer experience that I’m happy to bring to you.

Additionally, we’ve added a new link on our homepage – it’s at the top just under “Full Service Repairs” that says “Deal of the Day!”

Click that link that that’s what you’ll get. The deal of the day. This deal will change often, if not every day, so keep it bookmarked and keep your eyes peeled. There’s no coupon needed and it’s always the best savings. Click here for todays “Deal of the Day” and we’ll talk again soon!

Take care, Ryan

It’s parade season, and we have front row seats!

September 8, 2011

Hello all, it’s a wonderful morning here at Mission Repair. We’ve solidified our parade schedule, dressed up our Deuce and a Half, and we’re ready to hit the streets Saturday. Mission Repair is on the move!

We’ll be starting the parade events in Olathe, our hometown and our territory. Olathe puts on the Old Settlers Days starting today September 8th through Saturday the 10th. The 10th is the day of the parade and we’ll see you on the streets at 10:00am. You won’t be able to miss our entry:

Watch for the Deuce and grab some goodies!

I’ll be driving, and there will be 10 of us handing out candy, prizes and even a few t-shirts. Maybe you can get your very own Mission Repair frisbee ;-) We’ll be handing out coupon cards so everyone wins and we’ll be happy to answer questions or help after the parade. Should we do some repairs on-site? We’ll see!

I’ll be back soon with more parade info and showings in the area. Want us to participate in your event? Email us here and we’ll see how we can help!

Take care, Ryan
