Hello friends, we are about to unleash the mother-of-all-repair programs here at Mission Repair. I want to tell you all about it, but we must first make sure that we’ve got all the bases covered, lawyers approvals, and calls to action in place. It’s exciting, cutting edge, and the first of it’s kind. Please stay in touch as we will be launching it this week!
In the mean time, we’ve revisited some of our pricing – we’re consistently buying larger and larger quantities of products which means that our cost on parts consistently goes down on our core services. So today we are happy to announce a price drop on the iPhone 3GS Glass and Digitizer Repair and it’s now only $104! This is a new part, professional labor and 1 year warranty. . .all included in the price.
So, I’m going to get back to work and get this new program on the ball. I’ll be back in a day or two!
Thanks, Ryan

Hello all, after our “break” this morning of watching the Presidential Inauguration here at the office, we got back to the task at hand of completing several changes on our website and getting our new services ready for launch.

I've got the power!
It’s ready: We now have a flat-rate iPhone 3G Power Button Repair Service on the web and in the news. We have been repairing iPhone 3G’s since they came out and it’s a far better deal than buying a new one from Apple! Just remember that we can fix ANYTHING on the iPhone 3G-
OK, we’re back to web work. Pretty soon you’ll be able to see our new Mac Portable Services including Unibody MacBook screens, repairs and upgrades!
Thanks, Ryan

Hello there friends-
There’s a competition, built around Apple’s iPhone 3G, that will reward the best applications designed and implemented by teams of students from several sponsoring schools.
The teams with the best ideas have the opportunity to pitch their iPhone 3G App ideas, can possibly land $$$ in development funding and will also have the opportunity to win a trip to Cupertino!
The best Apps will hopefully go public soon! This entire competition is being put on by the Reynolds Journalism Institute, Apple Inc, and AT&T.
How do we fit into this scenario? Well, we’ve opted to sponsor one team and the lead is Mike Daly who’s the President of the Mizzou Game Design Club. Mike pitched his 3G App idea to me (which is going to be AWESOME by the way) and he’s currently in the development stages of his App. I’m really excited for his team and of course we’re wishing him the best of luck (and we want him to WIN!). He’s making a few presentations to his Computer Science Department and another for the School of Journalism and we’re excited to review his progress.
Within the next month or two, Mike will post a few screenshots of his development and don’t be surprised if you get a glimpse of our Mission Repair logo in there (I’m hoping for a really cool presence). I wish I could tell you more, but I can’t spoil the surprise yet. I promised not to say anything until he’s ready!
Ok, that’s it for now. Mike, good luck to your team, all of us here at Mission Repair are on your side. Let me know if there’s anything else we can do for you.
Take care, Ryan

Hello all- we’re in the iPhone mood over here at Mission Repair, and we’re ramping up for the NEW 3G verion of the iPhone. We want to be ready and offer repair services for the iPhone 3G just as we do for other electronics.
We’ve gotten a first look at some of the replacement parts, and we want to pass the pics onto you. Here’s a picture of the bezel, and if you know anything about the original iPhones, you’ll quickly be able to tell that the bezels are very different and not interchangeable:

Here’s a picture of the headphone jack/power button assembly, which is also a new part:

I think that it’s safe to say that we’ll be looking at a totally new set of parts on the new iPhone 3G, and we’ll post pictures of service and repair parts as they come available to us. Thanks for reading and stay tuned. Ryan
