Need that rubber gasket replaced on your iPad 2?

September 20, 2011

Hello folks, good afternoon! We’re kind of excited about a new part that we received last week, but I have yet to talk about it. We now have the ability to replace the “gasket” around the glass screen on the iPad 2. Why is this important?

Well, the gasket (we also call it the bezel) it most likely going to incur some damage when you drop your iPad, and when you send the iPad into repair to us, of course we can replace the glass but you also want to know that we can replace that damage seal between the glass and the back housing. This would be a worth while service for anyone that wants the iPad to look BRAND NEW again. I mean in most cases it’s not absolutely necessary to have the gasket replaced for the unit to function, but heck why have a brand new iPad screen installed and leave the gasket broken, dented, or even missing. . .it’s your choice, but at least you have a choice when it comes to your expensive device!

Like I said, it’s not a mainstream repair, but it’s more proof that we’re doing our best to keep the necessary parts in stock and for those customers that are picky about their device. We can restore them back to factory specs! It’s the Mission Repair way, and it’s the Intelligent Choice.

Take care, Ryan

Great Royals Game Yesterday! 15% off any service we offer this weekend!

May 6, 2011

Hello everyone, I was able to take a 1/2 day yesterday and chill out at a Royals game with my buddy Darrin. Normally, I wouldn’t probably blog about this, however I was able to take a quick snapshot of Darrin yesterday after he caught a foul ball-

I’ve been to a zillion baseball games starting back from when I lived in California watching the San Francisco Giants play at the old Candle Stick Park. I’ve been to Wrigley Field, Coors Field, Chase Field and many more- and I’ve NEVER caught a foul ball. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been close, just like yesterday. I was right next to Darrin when he snagged this beauty and once again I came home empty handed.

The cool part about the whole experience? Darrin handed the ball to a youngster in a wheel chair. That boy lit up and getting a ball was clearly the highlight of his day. I was overwhelmed and Darrin, my good buddy, did a great thing.

So there it is. A warm day, hot dogs, nachos, and foul balls. I might have to go back tonight, it’s “Buck night” so instead of your hot dogs being $6, they are only $1! Peanuts = $1. Sodas = $1. $6 and you’re eating like a king!!

How can I make you feel like a king? How about a 15% off coupon good now through Monday 5/9/11. Just enter “FOULBALL” when you place your order online and we’ll take 15% off of your entire order including shipping! Now’s the time to get that iPad 2 Screen Repair, or any other iPod, iPhone or Cell Phone Repair we have on our sites!

Thanks everyone, have a great Friday! Ryan

Good morning everyone, happy Wednesday!

I’ve been repairing Apple products (iPods, iPhones, MacBooks) since 1994 so when the iPad showed up on the market I immediately started our iPad repair services off on the right foot. We had been talking about iPad repairs months before even the first Apple iPad hit the shelves, and frankly I use my iPad every day. I love that thing!

We then launched into the Kindle repair market and we receive Kindles daily for service.

Recently we jumped into the Samsung Galaxy Tab services market with overwhelming success. We are now getting into the rhythm of repairing the Samsung products (including many Samsung Cell Phone Repairs) and these are quickly becoming a staple in our repair lineup.

Now we’ve got the iPad 2 here – Apple released them on 3/11/11. And the very first day we got our first order for a repair and since we’ve been getting in iPad 2 repairs every day.

Why am I mentioning all of this?

Happy customers abound!

We’ve been in the repair market for many years and we’re steadily honing our craft. Our technicians are the best in the business. Each of them have repaired literally thousands of units. When you do something over 1000 times, you get the hang of it, you know the tricks, heck you become an expert. The bottom line is that when you use Mission Repair, you’re getting me, my sales department, my technical staff, my QA department, my webmaster, my receiving department and my shipping staff on your side. All of us have one goal…to make your customer experience perfect.

Thanks and that’s what you should expect from Mission Repair. . .Ryan

iPad 2 in the house! Yeah this guy looks great!

March 11, 2011

So here it is, picture taken 18 minutes after it’s official release, and we’re back in the shop with our brand new iPad 2.

At first unboxing it looks amazing. This is just a quick post to let you know that we waited in line at all at our local Target Store for 15 minutes, but we did get the last one, whew. I’ll be going to Target from now on!

We’ll be back with more info soon, but first we need to enjoy this unit before we take it apart. Please understand ;-)

Have a great weekend. iPad 2 repairs launching next week.

Best, Ryan
