Hello M:R Nation -
We are having some interesting weather in Kansas City during the month of January. We finally had our first snow of the winter, the have experienced well below zero temperatures (which is not at all uncommon) and today, it is sunny with the high of 69-72 degrees.
Now, I have lived in this area for most of my life and this has got me scratching my head. Kansas and Missouri are known for their extreme temperatures in either direction, but this is just crazy. I guess we will enjoy it while we can… I hear there is also snow in the forecast for this week!

I could get used to this!
We are going to have a pretty eventful week here at Mission Repair. With some new service additions and programs that we have taken on, It is going to be Superbowl Sunday before we know it. Time truly flies when you are up to your eye balls in projects to work on. Don’t worry, we won’t let these deter us from coming back here on a daily basis to talk to our favorite people, The M:R Nation!
So watch out this week for specials, discounts and new services pertaining to everything Apple, Samsung, Amazon , HTC and much more.
Cheers, Troy

Hello M:R Nation -
People that drop and damage their iPhone, iPad, Smartphone or any other handheld device go through different stages of emotions/actions. This happens every time and maybe without you even knowing it. We are going to talk about the 5 different stages and hopefully bring some counseling to those of you who are going through it at this very moment and advice to those that have yet to experience this unfortunate yet inevitable tragedy of a broken device.
Shock – The first stage of this whole experience is shock. You just spent hundreds of dollars on this brand new piece of technology that you have saved up for months to buy. The moment you dropped your Samsung Galaxy S III, time slowed to 1 frame per second. You saw it falling inch by inch, but there was nothing you could do to stop it. Landing face down on the concert, there is a slight gleamer of hope that the worst did not occur. You pick it up and its shattered along with your psyche. Advice - Keep calm. Breath. Relax. As Harper Lee says “Things are never as bad as they seem”
Grief - Your iPhone 4S is with you 24-7/365. It is no wonder that we get so attached. Your entire life is on this piece of plastic/glass/metal contraption. It is as much as a family member as the dog to some, so its understandable to become saddened at the state of your broken screen. This stage could last for quite awhile if you don’t know what to do next. Advice- Keep calm. Breath. Relax. “All things grow with time — except grief”. This unfortunately includes a hairline crack in glass.
Anger – This is the the most expected and perhaps the lengthiest stage of all. Its easy to be mad. Mad at yourself, mad at your friend or your dog for damaging your precious iPad. It is important to not incur further damage to your iPad or friendship/companionship for that matter. Things are things and can be repaired easily. Advice- Keep calm. Breath. Relax. As Ben Franklin once said ”Whatever is begun in anger, ends in shame.”
Acceptance - Once you reach this point, you are almost in the clear. You have recovered from the shock, you have wiped all of the tears away and mended your friendships. This is what I like to call the action step. You decide what you are going to do with this useful, yet crippled iPod Touch. You could just deal with it? You could buy a brand new one? You will start researching and find out what the most cost effective way to rectify this situation. You might run into bumps along the way. FYI: The support from the carrier and/or manufacturer will usually be little to none. Advice- Keep calm. Breath. Relax.”Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it.” -Eckhart Tolle
Mission Repair - This is the completion stage. We have come along way since that shocking mishap. You are just inches away from the finish line. You have chosen a great repair center to entrust your device to and they will repair it CORRECTLY and quickly. Not only are their prices the best in the country. The amount of support they offer before, during and after the repair process is unprecedented. They have a full staff just to field any questions you might have before you order the repair service. An awesome technical department that will treat your device with the upmost care and a program called “Got Repair” for the needed support and any accidents you might have after your initial repair service.Advice – Celebrate. Get Excited. Know you are in good hands.
“You have just made an intelligent choice. Cheers!”

Hello M:R Nation -
We receive a lot of requests per day to explain what our “Got Repair” Lifetime Warranty actually is. Please allow yourself a few moments to read some of the information below…

- Think of it as ”The Real Lifetime Warranty”. Check the competition. When they offer lifetime warranties, this doesn’t include breakage again on the part you had repaired. What good is a lifetime warranty on a piece of glass that only fails when it breaks? Our “Got Repair” program covers re-repairing damaged glass and screens.
- Think of it as a “Thank You” for coming back to Mission Repair. If you have your device repaired with us, you already know that it can be broken. And if you should somehow accidentally or intentionally damage it again, we want you to come back to Mission Repair. We would make more money by charging you full price but you may decide not to repair your device more than once. Our “Got Repair” program benefits encourage repeat business with a special thank you to every Mission Repair customer.
- Think of it as the “New Standard” in which services should be performed. Mission Repair pioneers many programs and we set the standard for the market.
- Think of it as the opposite of “Insurance”. Insurance is just that. You buy insurance “in case” something happens to your unit. If nothing happens, you still pay. Additionally, most insurance plans require a deductible and stringent rules to filing a claim. Our “Got Repair” benefits cost you nothing up front. Rather, we charge a small service fee for any repeat repair. You can have the unit re-repaired once or 1000 times, this service fee will remain the same.
You can think of it as many things, but when you boil it down, its simply in place so you NEVER have to pay full price again for the same repair on that Smartphone, Tablet, or Laptop again! There is no catch. You automatically qualify for this warranty by using Mission:Repair the first time around and if you decide that you don’t want to pay the lower service fee, we will gladly let you pay full price again
Of course I’m joking.
So, if you are trying to choose a service center, please take this benefit into account. That mixed with our free shipping + our multi-year award winning service are just a few things to consider!
Cheers, Troy

Hello M:R Nation -
I have some awesome news for all of you HTC ONE X owners! We now have the HTC ONE X Screen assemblies back in stock! Don’t be fooled by the companies selling the glass and or the LCD screen separately. This part comes one way only, and that is fused together. Without this fusion of glass and LCD screen, there is a high chance of getting dust and other debris under the glass causing more than just an eyesore.

For those of you that don’t own or know anything about the HTC ONE X , this is an amazing phone. Here are a few specs to show you just how amazing it is:
Screen Assembly: Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors/ Corning Gorilla Glass
Memory: Standard 32GB
Camera: 8 MP, 3264×2448 pixels, autofocus
Video Capability: 1080p@24fps, stereo sound rec., video stabilization
Chipset: Nvidia Tegra 3
Audio: Beats Audio
As you can see, this phone is a beast and is packed with all of the features that you have come to expect.
Not only do we have it in stock, we have also slashed the price! We have dropped the repair price a massive $60.00 to only $189.00! Add in our Got Repair benefit , you can’t find a better deal out there.
We are ready to take your orders so if you need the HTC One X LCD and Glass Screen Repair service, give us a ring at 866-638-8402 or email sales@missionrepair.com and let us help you out today!

Hello M:R Nation -
I was walking by my technician supervisors desk this morning and I noticed him working this beauty. Its the HTC EVO 4G LTE and boy do I love this phone! It is super sleek and a great evolution of its past self. As I sat there and watched him repair this, I noticed something… This is not an easy repair! Jake being the professional he is, made it look easy. However, I do not wish this repair upon anyone that hasn’t done it before. Let me give you fair warning now. Do not try this repair at home and LET US REPAIR IT FOR YOU!

Before

After
The HTC EVO LTE is just one phone in a new string of HTC smartphones that they are pumping out to keep up with the likes of Apple and Samsung. I have my technicians and sales staff at the ready if you want to walk-in or ship your HTC EVO 4G LTE out to us, we have your 6 and we will get it repaired and back in your hands in no time.
Cheers, Troy
