iPhone 5 Screen Repair Service!

April 23, 2013

Hello M:R Nation -

The iPhone 5 is the phone I personally use, which translates to “The iPhone 5 is the phone I drop on a daily basis”. With that being said, I have to tell you that I just finished up dropping my iPhone 5 for the 100th time and to my surprise, the screen still did not crack. This was a pretty gnarly corner drop too. I was certain it was finally time for me to use our iPhone 5 Glass Repair Service.  I am not doing this on purpose. I am not testing a new protective case to put on MissionRepair.com. I am really dropping this thing on accident and it usually happens when I go to put it back into my pants pocket.

You'd better baby that iPhone!

You’d better baby that iPhone!

As a person with MANY drops to my name. I have come up with some muscle memory reactions when my iPhone slips out of my hands.

  • Foot Cushion – This seems to be my go to reaction when I drop my iPhone. I simply stick my foot out to cushion the fall. This equates to about a 2″ fall after all is said and done.
  • Quick Grab – More often than not, I am able to catch it mid-fall. This is not a great tip, but hey….
  • Jump And Dive – This is just not safe, but I find myself at times diving for my dropped phone. Yes, I have actually found myself on the floor more than once trying to prevent a crack.
  • Walk On Carpet – When interacting with my iPhone, I will often make a point to do so on carpet. I know this is ridiculous, but I have yet to crack my glass so I’m adding it to the list.
  • Cover My Eyes – I do this most of the time. Now that I think about it, I’m just a lucky gent that just happens to not drop it the right way. I think my days are numbered.

But until that day comes, I will continue with my beloved foot cushion and closed eye method which has worked for me through today.

What’s your method of saving your phone?  Let me know!

Of course the bottom line is that if you should happen to crack that screen in the event that one of your acrobatic maneuvers doesn’t work, call us at Mission Repair and we’ll get you fixed up fast.  866-638-8402.

Cheers, Troy

Superbowl Commercials = HUGE SUCCESS!

February 4, 2013

Hello friends, it was a long, late night last watching the “Blackout Bowl” for 2013. We were lucky, our commercials ran before the disruption and went off without a hitch! Never fear, if you missed the 2-part commercials titled “The Super Bowl Scuffle”, you can see them here:

The Super Bowl Scuffle: Part 1

The Super Bowl Scuffle: Part 2

Yeah, it’s been a busy morning. We we’re on 810 sports radio this morning and NBC is doing an independent review pitting our commercials up against the other National commercials today. It’s been a fun weekend!! Yikes, sales are off the charts and we’re scrambling to get our selves composed. I’ll share more news later today!!

Best, Ryan

Has your life flashed in front of your eyes?

April 19, 2012

I think that most of us have done it before. . .we’ve had some sort of accident that was so traumatic when we retell the story we say something like “I saw it happen in slow motion”.

It could have been knocking over a glass of milk, walking and slipping on a patch of ice, or a fender-bender in our car. It’s a common description along with “my life flashed in front of my eyes”.

Quick story- I was working on my basement last year and adding some additional circuits to my existing electrical panel. Well, I got careless after a long day of working and I got zapped. It took a minute for me to recover and a couple of chiropractic appointments later, I was all fixed up! I can clearly remember thinking a ton of things in a short amount of time. I think this could be described as “my life flashing before my eyes!”

Well, we hear this on a daily basis here at Mission Repair, and we’re sympathetic to life’s daily trials:

“I dropped my iPhone, tried to grab it and in slow motion it crashed on the cement.”

“I had my computer on the coffee and my German Shepherd walked by and knocked it off onto the tile floor with his tail.”

Your pet can do this kind of damage. Try to remember that he doesn't know any better!

“I dropped a space heater onto my computer and crushed the screen”.

“I left my iPad on top of the car and when I stopped at the corner realized that it was still up there. My whole life flashed before my eyes.”

After the immediate shock wears off, don’t panic. Just give us a call at Mission Repair: 866-638-8402. We can take care of those little hand-held devices and make you feel like you have 9 lives. We keep you up and running when otherwise you might be stuck. Can we fix that fender bender in your car? No, and we don’t clean up spilled milk either ;-)

We will be happy to be your iPod, iPad, Smartphone and Laptop repair center of choice.

Take care, Ryan

Turn right on 162nd!

March 28, 2012

Hello folks, I just drove by our very first billboard that was installed and setup yesterday – it’s kind of exciting ;-)

We're trying to make it easy!

I took this with my buddy Darrin driving, trying to slow to get a quick shot with my iPhone 4. It’s a little grainy, but heck it’ll do…

We’ve got a GIANT cracked iPhone on the front and you can’t miss it when driving down the highway on the way to our office. Our new script for giving directions over the phone will be:

“Exit highway I35, and take your first left off of the highway. You’ll see our billboard…and it will guide you the rest of the way in!”

The best part is that we’ve received several customers already today saying “I saw your billboard and didn’t know that you were right down the street”!

Truthfully you don’t need to drive by and see us – you can call in and we’ll pick up your device right from your home anywhere in the USA. Just give us a call at 866-638-8402 and we’ll be happy to help!

Take care, Ryan
