Hello M:R Nation -

This is a picture of a Kindle Fire Charging port:

Kindle Fire Charging Port

This little fella has been the cause of a lot of heart ache for many people. Once the solder points break loose and the battery drains, it is the end of the road for this beautiful tablet. That is until recently! Last week, we announced the our brand new Kindle Fire Charging Port Replacement Service!

We open your beloved Kindle FIre, take out your old, broken micro usb port and replace it with a brand new one! But wait, we take this one step further… Once we open your Kindle and complete the repair, we take one extra step to reinforce your charging port so it is less likely for the same issue to occur again. I won’t go into detail of how we reinforce it (trade secrets my dear friends), but just know we do it for the benefit of you, our loyal customer!

Once we have the charging port replaced and reinforced, we put it through a thorough QA test and get it shipped back to its owner. It is just that easy! So if you find yourself in need of this or any other service, email us at sales@missionrepair.com and we will be happy to get you back on your feet again!

Cheers, Troy

Hello M:R Nation -

We have been swamped as of late and its not slowing down anytime soon! We have some great new services that have been added to our portfolio recently and I am here today to talk about one of them in particular…

The LG Optimus G LS970 has become a real contender in the market. People are loving them. People are buying them and unfortunately, people are breaking them. That is where Mission Repair steps in. Mission Repair can take your broken LG Optimus G LS970 and make it like new again. Our trained technicians are chomping at the bit for these repairs in particular. I don’t really know why, but technicians seem to like some repairs more than others…

It could be that screen on the LG Optimus G LS970 is actually a whole display assembly. It is packed together with the glass, digitizer and LCD screen all in one. This really helps speeds up the repair process considerably. Thus, helping our turn around to you all that much more!

Our initial offering of screen service only dates back to 5/21/13, and it has taken no time at all to become one of our biggest sellers. So if you find yourself in need of a LG Optimus G LS970 Front Glass Screen Repair, do what everyone else is doing and call Mission Repair (866-638-8402)!

Cheers, Troy

Hello M:R Nation -

With Memorial Day behind us and hints of an emerging summer all around, we at Mission Repair are readying ourselves for the summer rush! Kids are finally done with school, schools are finally done with kids, and parents are once again pulling their hair out …

During the summer, schools take this time to repair all of those broken devices that have accumulated from the previous year. Parents are put to the task of safeguarding their and their children’s devices from dreaded drops and swimming pools and Mission Repair likes to reinstate our famous Deal Of The Week!

What is our “Famous Deal Of the Week”? It’s very simple, every week we choose a popular service and discount it heavily. This is a huge help to parents out there and we couldn’t be happier to do it!

What Is The Deal?

This weeks “Deal Of The Week” includes two of our all time top services, the 4th Gen iPod Touch BLACK Front Glass & LCD Repair and 4th Gen iPod Touch WHITE Front Glass & LCD Repair! We have taken 22% off the top, making this service only $69.00 for a limited time! So what changes with this “cheaper” service? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We will use the same quality parts, same top notch speed and take the same care we take when completing a repair at “regular price”. Lets just say this is our way of saying “Welcome to Summer”!

So with that, I have many emails and other form of messages to catch up on. I hope everyone enjoys the remainder of their short weeks and I will talk you again soon!

Cheers, Troy

Hello M:R Nation -

The Kindle Fire is a great machine. I have made this point numerous times here on the Mission:Repair Blog. The features and the price point of the Kindle Fire makes it one of the most desirable tablets on the market. With those accolades, there is one flaw with the Kindle in my opinion. The weak solder points on the charging port. We have had inquiry after inquiry about this issue and until now, we have lacked an answer for you.

With our apologizes, please accept this newest service into the M:R family- Kindle Fire Charging Port Replacement Service. We will remove your old and broken charging port from your Kindle Fire and solder in a brand new shiny micro usb port! This will restore the ability to charge your battery, use accessories and connect to a computer.

The best part about this service is the price! For only $49.00, it just makes sense to repair. There is no longer a need to buy a completely new Kindle Fire for a simple charging port issue!

As alway, Call, email or Chat in if you have any questions on this or another service!

Cheers, Troy

Good afternoon everyone,

I was just talking with my wife Dandra this weekend and we both realized that this is the first year that we didn’t get invited to a graduation ceremony. In fact, it looks like we will have a reprieve next year as well, but my son Casey will be graduating in 2015 so he’s next on the list!

This is a fun time for those kids that are finishing up their school commitments and moving into college. Or even more rewarding for those students that are finishing college and graduating – that’s a show stopper as well. Time to celebrate!

Well, we here at Mission Repair can’t be there physically to party with you if you’re graduating this year, but we can give you a special treat if you find yourself in need of an iPhone, iPod or Tablet repair. Even think about your laptop computer…does it need service? Well we’re giving a 13% off coupon to all that begins today and lasts through May 31, 2013. 13% off in honor of the class of 2013!! I tried to give everyone 2013% off but my system wouldn’t take it for some reason USE COUPON CODE “GRADS” TO RECEIVE YOUR DISCOUNT.

Again if you’re a graduate or know a graduate; congratulations and we recognize all of the hard work that goes into an individual’s education. Job well done. Have a great May!

Ryan

Hello everyone,

It’s the last week of school for the kids around the Kansas City area, and my son Casey is happy to report that he will be home early the next few days because he had the option to “opt out” of a few final exams this week. He’s a sophomore in high school.

What is this “opting out” business? When I was in high school we had to take our finals. There were no free passes. It’s an interesting notion that would have made the remaining days of my high school years much more fun, don’t you agree?

Scenario:

“It’s finals week. Do you want to study with me?”

“No, I’m opting to not take my finals this year.”

That would have never worked at Independence High School back in the 80′s

Well the times are changing, but it still definitely feels like summer vacation is approaching us. We have a few family plans and hopefully I can get my entire clan together and take a few camping trips as a group or get away to a destination somewhere…but the problem is that “dad” (that’s me) doesn’t get to take the summer off. I merely have to bask and live vicariously through those of you that do.

Ah well, I’ll be right here at Mission Repair planning my next vacation. Where are you going this year, and have you started packing?

Have a great day, Ryan

Hello M:R Nation -

The Samsung Galaxy S III services have been a real success here at Mission Repair! We have had folks from all across the country use our services and save all kinds of dough. The key to that people, is to repair! Not replace! Some of the Samsung smartphones sell for up to $1000.00 unsubsidized. What does that mean? It means that if you bought your phone yesterday and you crack it today, you are not going to pay $199 for a new phone again. You are already locked into a contract and the only solutions carriers give you is to buy a whole new unit for a ridiculous price…

With that being said, Samsung (along with every other Smartphone manufacture) doesn’t sit still for long. They have now released the Samsung Galaxy S IV and I am sure they are already in the final stages of the GS5. What does this mean for Mission Repair? We need to try to keep up! It can be a daunting task at times, but we are up for the challenge.

Announcing today, the Samsung Galaxy S IV (Black) Glass and LCD Screen Repair and Samsung Galaxy S IV (White) Glass and LCD Screen Repair is us doing just that. Keeping up with Samsung and giving all of you Samsung GS IV users a different solution as we have with your GSIII siblings.

The Samsung Galaxy S IV is just like the GSIII in many ways. The screen is replaced as a whole assembly. The glass and the LCD/touch screen are attached at the factory and are married for life! While some companies try to replace just the glass, the result is NEVER the same. You will have dust issued within hours and it honestly just looks bad. So please take caution when choosing a repair company other than Mission Repair.

This service is available starting today and can be ordered online or by calling one of our many customer service reps. To call, just type 866-638-8402 on your phone of choice and give us a ring!

Cheers, Troy

Well hello friends,

It is somewhat of a relief and I’m excited to say that my book that I started last year is finally in print! I received the very first copy in the mail and it looks fantastic (if I do say so for myself)

I’m trying not to brag too much, please understand that this has been a work of passion of uncounted long nights and weekends of typing. Since this is my first book, and my first publish piece of work, it’s been both exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. There’s a certain level of pressure inherent when working with a publisher…and it’s finally done!

My editor emailed me yesterday to say that the book is in production and should hit the shelves and on Amazon within a month. You can preorder a copy of it here!

I want to warn you…it’s not a “get rich quick” book. I’m neither rich, nor was my journey at Mission Repair quick It will however give you some insight on how to start a Computer Repair business and gives many accounts and personal experiences along the way. I talk about startup costs, how to work from home, how to make the move into a commercial space and how to hire employees.

Not only that, it will give you ideas on how to make your website successful if you’re running an online business.

Shortly, we will sell copies in our showroom and if you should have any questions about me, the book, or the contents of the book, just give me a call at Mission Repair! 866-638-8402. Or simply listen to the radio in the next month; I already have 6 interviews to promote the book on radio station all over the country. It’s an exciting time!

OK, I can now start to enjoy my weekends again. I’ve already been asked to write another book…but I think I’ll take a couple of months off for now. I need to give my keyboard a rest!

Take care everyone, thanks for joining me today.

Ryan
