Hi Linda, you should try to call the manufacturer. We are a 3rd party repair center and we’d be happy to repair your Kindle for you, however if you think that it’s a defective screen and should be covered by the manufacturer, then you can contact them directly for that. I BOUGHT A KINDLE FIRE ON LINE. I RECEIVED IT NOV. 20 2011
I WAS ON THE COMPUTER AND MY GREAT GRANDSON HAD
MY KINDLE FIRE. HE WAS SITTING BESIDE ME AND I MOVED MY ARM AND HE HAD IT IN HIS ARMS AND IT ACCIDENTLY
SLIP AND FELL TO THE FLOOR SCHATTERING THE GLASS.
WE FEEL IT SHOULD IT MUST HAVE A FLAW IN THE GLASS
WHEN IT FELL TO THE CARPET. I FEEL THAT THE GLASS SHOULD BE REPLACE FREE.

Yes, the frame AROUND the glass and digitizer are different as you point out. But if you pull the glass from the frame you can install a new glass, digitizer and LCD assembly into the appropriate frame, and install it into either phone. You just need to use the AT&T frame for the AT&T phone and the Verizon frame in the Verizon phone.

the at&t digitizer differs from the verizon only by how the screws are set. i ordered one not knowing this and i got the at&t one but i have the verizon iphone 4. the digitizers ARE different
