We are OPEN in Kansas City, Missouri!

October 20, 2011

Hello all,

It’s official. . .we are now open and available at our Kansas City location and we are taking walk in business as we speak!

We are open and ready! Pardon our construction.

When I say it’s official, I mean it. But I also want to make you aware that the store is open and ready for walk-ins, but it’s not that pretty. I am stating that now so if you stop by in the next week and if it still looks like we’re moving in, we are truly still moving in. The good part is that it’s only cosmetic- the back tech room is complete and 100% functional. We’ve got 4 technicians ready to rock at this new site and we’re going to use them to the fullest!

Our large lighted sign is in the works, so there’s no “MISSION REPAIR” sign out front, but we do have it on the door, and we’re happy and delighted to get your business at this new location if it’s more convenient for you to drop by that store. I know that it will be more convenient for the Apple Store in Leawood, Kansas- it’s about 1.5 miles from our new location and they are starting to send referrals over to us today. This is HUGE news and a big help.

Stop by and visit us!

Mission Repair
13141 State Line Road
Kansas City, Missouri 64145

We are taking walk-in and mail in repairs at this site, as well as walk-in and mail in repairs at our corporate headquarters and main service center in Olathe, Kansas. Additionally you can drop off your repairs in 5 other states and there may be a Mission Repair near you. If not – give us a call at 866-638-8402 and we’ll have your device picked up from your location. Truly there’s no need to leave your house, we will handle your repair from the comfort of your living room, but if you want to get outside and get some sunlight find us at one of our Mission Repair locations!

Take care, Ryan

Does Mission Repair take credit cards?

September 7, 2011

Hello all, I just took a phone call from a customer that asked “Do you take credit cards?” While this seemed to be a silly question with an obvious answer, maybe it just needs to be clarified.

YES WE TAKE CREDIT CARDS!

Not only do we take credit cards at Mission Repair, we DON’T charge credit card fees or give “cash discounts”. We’ve been taking credit cards from the very first day we started our business and it’s the best way for our customers to stay protected when purchasing online.

In addition to taking credit cards for payment, we take PAYPAL payments, cashier checks, local personal checks and cash. We prefer to only take cash when you visit our store directly, it’s not safe to send cash in the mail!

For our larger customers we even offer Net 30 terms and we offer instant Net 30 terms to all Schools and Government agencies.

I hope this helps. We are a company that offers a myriad of different ways to conduct business and we’re happy to help. Just give us a call at 866-638-8402 if you have any questions!

Best, Ryan

iPhones can’t swim.

July 5, 2011

Good afternoon everyone! We’re back in style. That long weekend did everyone some good and the 4th of July festivities were amazing last night. I love fireworks, spending time with the family and spending some time on the water. I did a little wakeboarding this weekend and I’m a little sore to be honest. There’s nothing wrong with just floating around in the lake as well – which I did plenty of!

Remember though. . .iPhones don’t swim!

Even worse yet, they HATE the water. We’ve got some tips and tricks to help the situation, but the best thing to do when you iPhone gets wet is to get it into us asap. This is not a sales tactic. It’s a fact. We need to get into the unit and clean the corrosion off immediately.

I saw this first hand. Remember I was talking about wakeboarding? Well, my iPhone got wet this weekend. I set it in the cup holder on the boat, and there was a little bit of water at the bottom of the cupholder. My dock connector got wet and this morning my iPhone would no longer charge or connect to my computer. It’s the truth and a little disassembly and cleaning took care of the problem.

In any case, your iPhone is out of warranty. Don’t bother sending your unit into Apple or try to get a warranty repair – they don’t have the same level of services – this is our specialty. We are the GO TO business for out of warranty repairs (cracked glass, liquid damage, breakage) and we’re providing the best service at the best prices with the best warranties.

Give us a call! 866-638-8402.

Best, Ryan

Price drops on iPhone glass repairs!

January 14, 2011

This is my quick attempt to illustrate a price drop. Get it? Price drop? Ha, I’m so easily entertained. Give me a break my noodle is fried, it’s Friday afternoon and I’m ready for the weekend coming up. I want to watch some football and relax!

Well, this afternoon we’ve dropped the prices on our 3G iPhone Screen Repair and 3GS iPhone Screen Repair services and Do-It-Yourself iPhone Glass Repair kits. Why?

Well we just received another price decease from our vendors. This means we are passing on our price decreases to you. Many businesses would just keep the pricing the same to make more money. While this is a worthy idea, I like the thought of extended the price decrease to you, our customers, as an equally worthy cause. And that’s it!

Well, we’re going to be closing up in the next hour and we’ll be back on Monday. Until then, have a great weekend and I’ll talk to you next week!

Best, Ryan
