Congratulations Graduates, coupon inside!

May 22, 2013

Good afternoon everyone,

I was just talking with my wife Dandra this weekend and we both realized that this is the first year that we didn’t get invited to a graduation ceremony. In fact, it looks like we will have a reprieve next year as well, but my son Casey will be graduating in 2015 so he’s next on the list!

Graduation Time!

This is a fun time for those kids that are finishing up their school commitments and moving into college. Or even more rewarding for those students that are finishing college and graduating – that’s a show stopper as well. Time to celebrate!

Well, we here at Mission Repair can’t be there physically to party with you if you’re graduating this year, but we can give you a special treat if you find yourself in need of an iPhone, iPod or Tablet repair. Even think about your laptop computer…does it need service? Well we’re giving a 13% off coupon to all that begins today and lasts through May 31, 2013. 13% off in honor of the class of 2013!! I tried to give everyone 2013% off but my system wouldn’t take it for some reason ;-) USE COUPON CODE “GRADS” TO RECEIVE YOUR DISCOUNT.

Again if you’re a graduate or know a graduate; congratulations and we recognize all of the hard work that goes into an individual’s education. Job well done. Have a great May!

13″ Macbook Repair? Yes, We Still Do That!

May 7, 2013

Hello M:R Nation -

The original Macbook is a timeless pieces of art. Its design and simplicity has paved the way for what you see today. It was well before it’s time and it show. When it first arrived in early 2006 and we started to offer services for it, I never envisioned receiving them on a daily basis for repair 7 years later. This truly shows you how timeless it really is. In a world of bigger, better and newer, the Macbook has stood the test of time and has continually provided enough power, speed and longevity to appease us technology crazed human being.

This is why we love Apple. The products they produce are so great, that people use them for years! I personally use a Blueberry iMac G3 for my Oregon Trail addiction and to keep track of my personal finances ;-) . While that was a joke, it is not far fetched. The iMac G3 that I have in my office is running OSX 10.2 and still offers a good amount of computing fun. The original Macbook is no different. I would be comfortable running the entire business on it.

So, with that being said. What services do we currently offer for the Macbook? The same services we offered 7 years ago! Take a look at what those are below:

Yep, that is a big ol’ long list of services indeed. We offer each of these services with the care and speed that you expect. So please, keep those Macbooks up and running! There is no need to give up on them just yet.

Cheers, Troy

Cracked Macbook Pro with Retina Display? Mission Repair Has You Covered!

March 4, 2013

Happy Monday M:R Nation -

Did you know that Mission Repair services the newest Macbook Pro with Retina display? We actually service both the 13″ and 15″ models which have just recently been released by Apple.

What makes these services differ from our normal Macbook Pro Repairs? Well, it’s that beautiful Retina display. Thinner and more crisp than ever, you would have to imagine that there is some kind of new technology used for this result? Well, this is a yes and no. What you see on the Retina display Macbook Pro is the same thing you see on the new Macbook Air, the whole display is built into the display backing.

Macbook Pro Retina Display Repair

You can see in the above picture the different layers that are included in the new MacBook Pro Retina display assembly. What should really jump out to the trained eye is the fact that the glass is no longer a separate piece. It too, is built into the display backing with all of the other LCD components. In fact, the glass is now considered a component of  the LCD screen. This is how Apple has produced such a masterful display. In true Apple fashion, less has become so much more!

With this new configuration, this means that this is not a project for the DIY’er! This is not something you would want to do sitting at your kitchen table. This procedure calls for a few specialty tools that you can’t pick up at the local hardware store, unfortunately. However, if you are considering completing this repair yourself, you should start with the tool needed first and foremost, a cleanroom. This should only set you back a few hundred grand ;-)

A cleanroom will help you keep any dust or debris from entering those layers that you are building into the display back. Now, we know most of you don’t have a few hundred grand to just throw towards a cleanroom and this is where Mission Repair has you covered! We will do all of the work for you! We have all of the tools, the  professionally trained technicians and experience to turn your frown upside down!

We are now offering both the MacBook Pro 15″ RETINA DISPLAY Glass and LCD Repair and  MacBook Pro 13″ RETINA DISPLAY Glass and LCD Repair services! We have had the 15″ service up for some time now, but never really announced it. With the addition of the 13″ service, we find this to be the perfect time for that! So starting today, we are actually officially announcing these services! Along with screen services, we also have diagnosis, superdrive and logic board flat rate services, so please look out for those.

We are excited to offer these much needed services and hope to save you some cash along the way. Repairing your Retina display with Mission Repair will be 1/4 the cost of buying a new laptop. This is a number I can’t make up. So please contact us at 866-638-8402 with any questions you may have and enjoy the first Monday of March!

Cheers, Troy

What Is Got Repair?

December 10, 2012

Hello M:R Nation -

We receive a lot of requests per day to explain what our “Got Repair” Lifetime  Warranty actually is. Please allow yourself a few moments to read some of the information below…

gotrepair-logo-benefits-600

  • Think of it as ”The Real Lifetime Warranty”.  Check the competition.  When they offer lifetime warranties, this doesn’t include breakage again on the part you had repaired.  What good is a lifetime warranty on a piece of glass that only fails when it breaks?  Our “Got Repair” program covers re-repairing damaged glass and screens.
  • Think of it as a “Thank You” for coming back to Mission Repair.  If you have your device repaired with us, you already know that it can be broken.  And if you should somehow accidentally or intentionally damage it again, we want you to come back to Mission Repair.  We would make more money by charging you full price but you may decide not to repair your device more than once.  Our “Got Repair” program benefits encourage repeat business with a special thank you to every Mission Repair customer.
  • Think of it as the “New Standard” in which services should be performed. Mission Repair pioneers many programs and we set the standard for the market.
  • Think of it as the opposite of “Insurance”.  Insurance is just that.  You buy insurance “in case” something happens to your unit.  If nothing happens, you still pay.  Additionally, most insurance plans require a deductible and stringent rules to filing a claim.  Our “Got Repair” benefits cost you nothing up front.  Rather, we charge a small service fee for any repeat repair.  You can have the unit re-repaired once or 1000 times, this service fee will remain the same.

You can think of it as many things, but when you boil it down, its simply in place so you NEVER have to pay full price again for the same repair on that Smartphone, Tablet, or Laptop again! There is no catch. You automatically qualify for this warranty by using Mission:Repair the first time around and if you decide that you don’t want to pay the lower service fee, we will gladly let you pay full price again :-) Of course I’m joking.

So, if you are trying to choose a service center, please take this benefit into account. That mixed with our free shipping + our multi-year award winning service are just a few things to consider!

Cheers, Troy
