Amazon Kindle Repairs announced!

Hello again everyone, I’m very excited to let you all know first, that we are now performing Amazon Kindle repairs. We have been working on our entry into the eReader market- as you know of course we are going to perform services on the iPad and perform iPad Repairs- that’s a given.

We wanted to reach out a little bit and begin to offer repairs on the pioneer in the eReader market, the Amazon Kindle Repair. We will be starting with repairs on their most popular model, the Kindle 2, with the 6″ LCD Screen. We are the screen repair Kings, and even before we added the part to our website we performed a repair for a customer that had lines through his screen. Well, consider it “announced”, however you are the first in the world to know about it. The official release and launch will hit the press later this week!

Mission Repair has done it again! It was nothin, really. . .

What did we do? Well do you remember last year when we were awarded the 2009 Gold Award by TopTenReviews.com? You may have seen this banner on our site at some point:

Recently announced, we did it again. We won the 2010 Gold Award from TopTenReviews.com for being the best iPhone Repair site in the country. It’s nice to be judged independently like this. It just makes me feel like my team is doing everything right!! So, just take a peek at our site now, we’ve added the 2010 Gold Award badge and they are starting to stack up on us. It feels pretty good!

Did I hear someone ask where our new iPhone App was? Yup still in the hands of our friends at Apple. Apparently they are inundated by a slew of new Apps submitted for some silly contraption called the iPad ;-) We are about 95% done!

Mission Repair in the New York Times Today!

Yup, I got a chat from a friend saying that we were in the Times today! Pretty cool- it’s about iPhone repair, and in the article the author calls out Mission Repair touting our mail-order services. In addition, one of our affiliates, 3gcrackedglass.com also got a mention- good job over there guys!

Mission Repair – expanding services to repair submarines!

Hello all- did you see one of the iPod-related headlines from this weekend? It read:

“It will cost taxpayers $87 million dollars to repair the damage done to a submarine that collided with another ship. According the report just issued by the Navy, the navigator was too busy listening to his iPod to notice the sub was headed for a collision. Shoes were kicked off, speakers had been wired up so the sailors could enjoy music, and “watchstanders” were busy catching some winks.”*

So it got me to thinking. Mission Repair repairs thousands of iPods, why not open up our line to help out the Navy?
