Nostradamus like 4th Gen iPhone prediction. Unreleased iPhone features revealed!

January 21, 2010

Hello again everyone- I was just having a planning meeting here at Mission Repair today and we talked about what features the next revision of the iPhone will have. We’re talking about the 4th Generation iPhone, and you KNOW that there will be some great changes! Let me just set the record straight – I believe that I have my finger on the pulse of the market – and you can come back to this blog in a few months to see if I was right. Here are my top 3 predictions for the new iPhone to be released in 2010:

1. Front mounted iPhone camera. Yes, the camera will be on the same side as the screen so you can take a picture of yourself!

2. HD Screen. Yup, it’s time that Apple steps up the screen quality and gives us true HD quality.

3. The glass/digitizer/LCD will be an assembly (not separate) just like the Original iPhone. This is kind of a nightmare for repair centers like us, but I believe that Apple had too many “dust” issues with their 3G and 3GS designs. We talked a lot about the Original iPhone LCD Screen here.

OK, that’s it for now. Just log it into your mental file. When the new iPhone comes out, remember that Ryan told you so ;-)

That’s my Nostradamus-like prediction for the new iPhone. Hey can we get turn-by-turn voice GPS now too and get rid of this chrome bezel? Thanks Apple!

Take care, Ryan

Blue Angels and Mission Repair working together!

January 19, 2010

Good morning! It’s a decent day here in Kansas City and I walked into some great news.

Every day we receive new testimonials from satisfied customers. It’s just unbelievable. Every once in a while I like to post them here on our blog. . .in my most recent example, we repaired a MacBook Pro for LT Amy Tomlinson, US Navy. Oh yeah, she’s also a Blue Angel. Being a pilot myself, I have HUGE respect for the talent of the Blue Angels, not to mention the unbelievable presence that they command. After working on LT Tomlinson’s 15″ MacBook Pro Screen, we received this letter from her and a signed/laminated picture of the Blue Angels in flight:

——————-

Dear Mission Repair,

Thank you, thank you, thank you! When I tried to close the canopy of the Blue Angel #7 Jet (a two-seat F/A-18 Hornet) and it just would not shut…I knew something was wrong. When I climbed up to see what was in the way, it turned out to be my 2007 MacBook Pro! Yikes! I love my computer and now it was damaged…badly, let’s just say the canopy won!!

Not sure who to turn to or what the prognosis would be, I was told to call Mission Repair, so I did.

Your staff was so professional and timely. I could not be happier with the repair work, and my beloved computer is looking great and working 100%! Thank you all so much for your excellent customer service, talented personnel, quick update and timely turnaround! I would recommend your services to anyone looking! Thanks a ton!

Very Respectfully,

LT Amy Tomlinson
Blue Angel #8, US Navy

——————-

If you know anything about the Blue Angels (or the military in general for that matter!) they are disciplined, regimented, proper and always follow through. Getting this kind of praise from a LT in the US Navy just makes me very proud of our business and the job we are doing for our customers. It’s why we’re here.

Thanks for your readership, Ryan

New employee Avatars on the website to help your iPhone Repair!

January 18, 2010

Hello again, I’ve just been working the blogs hard today. . .I wanted to reach out and let you know that we added a cool new feature to our website to help make your customer experience more enjoyable. Keep your eyes out for avatars of our employees (including myself, of course):

Here’s my avatar on our about us page!

When you see these avatars on a specific page, it means that the page has been sponsored by that individual employee. Also, you have the opportunity to click a button and email that employee directly for expert advice, questions or ordering information. Cool? Yup! Need help with that 3GS iPhone Glass Repair? Just email Phil! Have a question about that 13″ Unibody Glass Repair? Just email Charley! Avatar like these are all over the website.

It’s just too easy.

OK, heading back to the trenches, talk to you again soon, maybe even again today!

Thanks, Ryan

New phone system installed!

January 18, 2010

Hello friends- it was a late night here at Mission Repair – as we just upgraded our telephone system. The number of calls, especially since we added our exclusive MPG iPhone Protection Plans (like insurance for your iPhone) we just needed to make the upgrade!

I know it sounds simple or like basic business, but our new phone system is fantastic. It can handle several questions before you even need to speak to a live customer service representative. Of course, you can always get a live customer service rep on the phone during normal business hours, that’s never a question. However our system will now queue up the calls and give you an approximate hold time and position in line, if a line ever mounts up. What does all of this mean for you?

It’s a more efficient Mission Repair and a better customer experience. Period. That’s why we do it.

Try it out! Give us a call at 1-866-638-8402.

Take care, Ryan
