Educational and Government Purchase Orders Accepted!

October 22, 2008

Yup, it’s true. We’ve taken several school purchase orders in the last few days so we made an executive decision to allow Schools and Government Bodies to use Purchase Orders and take advantage of our services. Upon successful acceptance for the P.O., we’ll grant Net 30 Terms and bill the School or Government Institution for the services rendered.

We’re building a large base of schools around the country and we’ll continue to reach out and offer our unbelievable services with the option to use a P.O. It’s just one more way that Mission Repair is working for you. Thanks and fax your P.O. to 913-948-6991 when you’re ready!

Our “Live Chat” service is, well, live!

October 21, 2008

Hello all out there in cyber-internet-land! Mission Repair has added a new feature to our website, and on EVERY Page there is a link under our logo to engage in a live chat with one of our friendly sales people. If you have a question, chat us! We’re typing experts (kinda) ;-)

If you’re really lucky, you might even get me! It’s an honor you know! I’m just kidding. I’m not exempt from our customer service mentality and I love chatting with our customers. Makes me feel connected to the rest of the world, you know?

Live chatting is just another great way for you to reach a customer service representative during normal business hours. If it’s outside of our normal business hours, that chat button turns into a “Leave a Message” button and we’ll get back to you as soon as we return. As usual, you can call us toll-free at 866-638-8402 and we ALWAYS answer the phone during normal business hours. We just upgraded our brand new phone system and added more lines (again) so there are plenty of ways “in” to Mission Repair. We are driven by satisfying our customers and we want to be your choice for iPod Repairs, iPhone Repairs and MacBook repairs! Thanks again for your support. Ryan

Apple now including liquid submersion indicators on New MacBooks

October 17, 2008

Hello Apple fanatics-

Apple is now including Liquid Submersion Indicator sensors throughout the recently released MacBooks. These liquid indicators are to step up their fraud protection in the event of a warranty claim. Of course Apple does not offer warranties on liquid damaged units of any kind!

As you may or may not know, Apple introduced this technology in the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPod Video units, and the indicators change to red if they are exposed to moisture. The LSIs (Liquid Submersion Indicators) are found just under the keyboard on the new units, and liquid spills will be easily identifiable by Apple Store employees.

If this should happen to you, rest assured that Mission Repair will be able to repair your MacBook at a fair price and at lightning speed. Well, pretty fast anyway. We receive liquid damaged units in constantly and we’ve quickly become experts on liquid damaged units and getting them back into our customers hands working again. Unfortunately, these type of repairs are not covered under warranty, but we’ll make it as painless as we can for you to get you back in business! Thanks for reading, have a great weekend. Ryan

Fall Ball is over – and a 5% off coupon!

October 16, 2008

Ok, I’ve had several people ask me how my coaching experience went this Fall with my 12 year old little league team.  So let’s just get right to the point.  We only won our last game.  The stress is over.  We broke the curse!

However, over the season we improved drastically.  My son, Casey played first base and he was a calm, cool, and collected until he missed a grounder and I yelled “CASEY!  GLOVE IN THE DIRT!”  For some reason I don’t think that he particularly liked the “advice”, but if you have kids and particularly if you are in a position that you are coaching your own child on a team, it seems hard not to be extra hard on him.  I just want him to be GREAT, you know?  Fact of the matter is he was great and I was really proud of my team sticking together and making a real run at the end of the season and finish on a high note.  We closed out winning 5 to 4 in a nail biter of a game.  I’m just gonna sneak in here and say that Casey made the last out.  Let me set up the scenario:

It’s 5 to 4.  2 outs.  Last inning, they have a man on first and the tying run on 3rd base.  This kid on 3rd wants to steal home badly.  This is where everything moves in slow motion:  Casey and Mike are holding their men on their bases and Logan makes what will be the last pitch of the season.  The batter crushes a line drive in between third and short.  Gulp.

Mike, on 3rd base, makes a great stop in the dirt.  The man on 3rd is going home.  Man on 1st is advancing to 2nd.  Mike evaluates the decision (whether to throw the runner out at home or to make the force out at 1st).  He throws to first, and Casey is ready.  Batter is charging first base.  Mike’s throw is too hard and way too low.  Gulp.

Casey stretches himself off first base and takes the short hop and snags the ball which beats the runner to first and beats the runner home.  Casey KNOWS he’s done it.  He throws his glove and hat in the air and the team goes into celebration mode.  What a way to finish!!!  Whew, thanks goodness my kid didn’t blow it! ;-)

Ok, so there you have it.  A sad season with a happy ending.  To celebrate, we’ve initiated a new 5% off coupon for any product or service we offer.  Between now and the end of October, 2008, use coupon code “pumpkin” and 5% of your order will disappear.  It’s like a pre-halloween trick-or-treat goodie!  Stay tuned. . .Ryan
